The ROGO (Real with Ourselves, God and Others) Impact Initiative exists to make an impact wherever God gives us the opportunity to do so whether that is at one of our existing Sandals Church locations, through our church revitalization efforts, through the development of a community center in an area where we already have a campus, or in other unknown future opportunities.
So, the initiative is the impact.

Building Community Centers and
Supporting our Local Communities
In 2023, Sandals Church and the ROGO Impact Initiative began building it’s first community center in San Bernardino, The Hill Community Center. By redesigning a rundown and unused building at Sandals Church San Bernardino, the community center will provide access to laundry facilities, licensed counseling, regular programming, and much more.
We look forward to the opportunity to build more community centers in the future.
Helping Struggling Churches and
Building up the Local Church
Over the last decade, Sandals Church and the ROGO Impact Initiative have provided support to hundreds of churches that have reached out to us as they have strived
to overcome various ministry related challenges they were currently facing.
Regardless of the issue, we want to be a
resource to your church by helping to develop every aspect of a thriving ministry.
Amethyst Bible Church was located in the small town of Mentone, CA. They had a big heart for reaching the community with the gospel, but didn’t quite have the resources to make that happen. With only 30 people attending each week and only a few families keeping the church afloat, they knew something needed to change.
In 2015, Sandals Church East Valley became the first ever revitalized campus. In just one week, their attendance went from 30 people per week to 670 on opening day.

Sandals Church San Bernardino, 2018
Founded in 1925, Northpoint Christian Fellowship Church stood as a beacon of hope in one of the most dangerous cities in the country for nearly a century. Unfortunately, their world came to a crashing halt in 1999 when the church was burnt down by an arsonist, forcing them into difficult circumstances they could not have foreseen. After countless trials and difficult decisions, they sought out a new way to reach the community.
In April of 2018, Northpoint Christian Fellowship became Sandals Church San Bernardino. On their very first weekend together, they had 801 members in attendance, up from 110.
Sandals Church Palm Avenue, 2018
Positioned right at the heart of Riverside, California, Palm Baptist Church thrived for decades as a place of sanctuary in a rapidly growing city. Despite being one of the oldest churches in RIverside, time took its effect and attendance began to dwindle. With only 40 members left and a rapidly decreasing budget, the leadership knew they needed to take a leap of faith to reach the community around them.
Sandals Church Palm Avenue launched in the spring of 2018. Prior to the revitalization, Palm Baptist Church had roughly 40 members in regular attendance and on launch weekend they had over 1,600 attendees (a 4000% increase!).
